Onaoan Cattery is co-owned by Alison Renwick of Ally’s Cats and Jane Goble of Mela Cattery in Kwa-Zulu Natal.  Consensus was reached between Ally and Jane to register a new cattery name, reflecting their co-ownership of  specific Burmese - especially for the breeding cats/stock they had planned to import from Australia.  Their decision to bring in new blood lines is already proving beneficial to their breeding programmes.

They were ably assisted by Jan van Rooyen in finding top quality lines “down under”.  Jan had been invited to judge in Australia and had had the opportunity of meeting Burmese breeders.  Pamela Miller of Keeza Burmese has exported a couple of fine cats - a magnificent cream stud, Onaoan Keeza Shane Warne (below left).   A superb lilac tortie, Onaoan Keeza Maid Downunder (right) - both these cats are on the brink of becoming a Supreme Champions.  A the third Burmese, a striking brown stud, Gr. Ch. Onaoan Beaucoat Brown Lark (centre) was acquired from Avice Henderson in Port Elizabeth.

Onaoan's studs are closed, i.e. not available to sundry breeders.
